Kadans Science Partner develops and invests in commercial real estate, focusing on knowledge-intensive companies and institutions on campuses. This includes multi-tenant office buildings with vibrant communities, as well as lab spaces, clean rooms, and pilot plants. Because of this growth and expansion, we want to further professionalise, which is why we are looking for a new colleague in the role of Business Assistant.

About the job
To strengthen our Belgian team, we are looking for a new colleague: a business assistant who will support the operations of a dynamic team counting 5 people. You will safeguard our office efficiency across all business lines (asset, property, project, development, and ecosystem management). 

Curious about the tasks you will perform?

 

  • Administrative Support: Scheduling meetings and appointments, all around correspondence, personal assistance to the Team Head.
  • Office management: organizing the office, setting procedures, ensuring the working environment is at all times serving the team
  • General Support in assisting the team with:
  • Financial administration, including processing invoices, purchase orders
  • Budget administration : project-related budget, yearly budget (maintenance, capex…), and other investments, tracking expenses
  • Lease administration : bank guarantees, rents, sqm, and all related information included in ERP-system
  • CRM administration : Community platform, outlook contacts, ..
  • Document Management: Maintaining and managing property documentation, contracts, legal papers, building permits and other important documents. 
  • Customer Service: Communicating with stakeholders, tenants, prospects, contractors. Answering questions, providing information and solving problems. Acting as an intermediary between various departments.

Criteria

What do we ask of you?

  • Do you have a degree in Business Administration or a similar field?
  • Do you have experience in real estate industry?
  • Are you strong in communication?
  • Do you like to work in an organised way and in a small team?
  • Do you like to take initiative and work independently?
  • Are you fluent in French and Dutch?
